In the movie RAJ(Shah rukh khan) is a N.R.I. boy born and brought up in London, who fell in love with SIMRAN(Kajol). A girl of a conservative panjabi family of India. How RAJ came to India and convinces SIMRAN's family member and specially SIMRAN's father(Amrish puri) is the story. One of the mpst romantic scenes of the movie is when Shah rukh khan pulls tthe hand oh Kajol while the train is in speed nd pulls her inside. This scene was even copied in the film Chennai Express in which Deepika Padukone acted in the scene of Kajol and Raj was the same Baadshah of bollywood.
